Lily Allen says she is quitting the music business after announcing on Twitter “the abuse is getting too much”.

Earlier in the week, Lily launched a blog called It’s Not Alright, in which she posted lots of articles opposed to file-sharing and illegal downloading of music tracks.

But now she’s taken it down after critics pointed out she had copied and pasted stories about the issues onto her site with no attribution. The haters also pointed out she had made mixtapes of other artists tunes, which is essentially file-sharing.

But I am disappointed in Lily. If she believes in the campaign against music piracy then she should stick with it.
