Lily Allen is the latest star to sign up to sing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Smile’ singer will be appearing on the BBC programme, after ITV competitor ‘The X Factor’ lost their bid for Lily to sing on their show.
“Lily was wanted by both shows so we’re delighted,” a BBC source said.
Other stars who have agreed to perform on Strictly include Mariah Carey, Bette Midler and Rod Stewart, while previous singers on ‘The X Factor’ have included Michael Buble, Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston.
Maybe Lily’s appearance on the show will help boost Strictly’s ratings?! The programme certainly needs a boost if it has any hope of beating ‘The X Factor’!
