Drinking cocktails is a vice anyhow, so why not throw a few more sins into the mix?

Before I go into this week’s favourite cocktail, I must point out the Dean Martini at The Loft in South London’s Clapham, which is made with an essence of tobacco (!)

The Loft’s Marmalade Sun cocktail – designed by Jon McClure from Reverend and the Makers includes the most rock and roll of spirits; Jack Daniels – I liked that a lot.

But the sexiest drink of the week is this playfully named Snow Leopard Minxie – served at the Westbury Hotel in London’s Mayfair – best drunk alone, at the end of the bar, whilst fluttering one’s eyelashes…

25mls Snow Leopard

15mls Elderflower Cordial

2 inches of muddled cucumber

Slithers of ginger

Method: Shake ingredients and strain into a martini glass
