The Party: Alesha Dixon celebrates the launch of her new single Drummer Boy until a fight breaks out!

The Venue: Movida nightclub, central London

The Drinks: Belvedere vodka and Moet and Chandon champagne. We laughed when we saw one admirer sent Alesha a bottle of Moet. She was not that impressed because she had a crew of dancers with her BUT the admirer sent over another three bottles. Why doesn’t that happen to us?

The VIPS: Alesha and six dancers (at least six). Plus we hear a certain rugby player was elsewhere in the club

Notice the word ’spots’ – we have not one but two great celebrity spots for your pleasure today.

Firstly, the Brickhouse Restaurant and Cabaret Club in East London had the cheeky celebrity below dancing on it’s bed style seats!

Plus we saw The Saturdays sweetie Mollie King out shopping.

Last night was slightly more glamorous than the last time they were together (half way up a mountain) as Mount Kilimanjaro buddies Cheryl Cole and Kimberly Walsh helped Gary Barlow and wife Dawn celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.

The star studded bash, held at the Madarin Oriental hotel in London, was not short of celeb guests venturing out and braving the cold. At last an end to the cold spell in terms of celeb parties!!

As well as the Girls Aloud, there was the whole Kili crew -  Fearne Cotton and  Alesha Dixon, then Lulu and the rest of Gary’s Take That bandmates.

Cheryl looked happy all evening and smiled for photographers as she arrived with husband, Chelsea’s Ashley Cole on her arm.

The Three Words looked great in her black dress with grey panels, but I think the real style star was Kimberley who looked stunning in a gold sequin dress.

There’s nothing like a celeb bash like this to cheer me up this month.

I can’t even begin to describe what an amazing performer Alicia Keys is, so I’ll let you watch the video I recorded last night and make your own minds up.

I recorded this at the London launch party for her new album The Element of Freedom, sponsored by W Hotels and American Express.

What’s even more incredible is that she is performing in a restaurant / bar – this is not a fancy, well-equipped music venue but a sushi and tapas restaurant called Aqua.

Also, this is just part 1 of the video I recorded. Come back tomorrow morning for a more polished version with some gossip from the celebrities that turned up to watch (eg JLS, Dizzee Rascal and Alesha Dixon).

This weekend I was lucky enough to go to the Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 Area, where I saw performances from Janet Jackson, Alexandra Burke, Ne-Yo and Alesha Dixon.

I’m going to have some exclusive video content for you later this week, but for now I’ll just say there could be a new celebrity couple VERY soon after I spotted some definitely flirtatious behaviour between Alexandra and Ne-Yo.

And wouldn’t they make a gorgeous couple?!

I’ve had a soft spot for Pixie Lott ever since she invited me on her private plane to Germany to celebrate the launch of her album Turn It Up and after meeting her again tonight, she didn’t fail to disappoint.

Despite a hectic schedule of gigs, the 18-year old singer found time to design the t-shirt dress that she is wearing in our photo to raise money for the Prince’s Trust.

Pixie’s t-shirt and ones by Alesha Dixon, Kid British and Kelly Rowland are in River Island stores now and on the River Island website and they all look fabulous – not what you expect t-shirts to look like…

Blinged up and all in aid of charity – you can’t go wrong!

Tonight I am wearing a head-turning gold dress by Missguided.co.uk to a River Island party – you might as well mix and match.

But Alesha Dixon was wearing total River Island and if you look in the fashion section then you’ll see she looks amazing too.

Alesha Dixon kicked off her tour in style on Tuesday night, with a series of sparkly outfit changes and energetic performances.

The singer – who caused controversy earlier this year when she was hired to replace Arlene Phillips on the judging panel for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – looked happy and relaxed as she took to the stage at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall.

Well done Alesha – it looks like you are proving your critics wrong and on your way to a long and successful solo career.

Two stories in todays papers are giving me a kick start to have a productive and positive week as they show you get what you want if you don’t give up.

(1) Ozzy Osbourne has passed his driving test on the 19th attempt.

He said most of the times he failed because he was too drunk to take the test! But it clearly bothered him as now he is sober, it’s one of the things he wanted to do and he got there in the end.

Good on him! (I empathise as I passed on the 5th attempt)

(2) Arlene Phillips is reprising her role on The Strictly Come Dancing judging panel for the live tour.

At first, I thought this was a terrible idea because Arlene was sacked so she has no reason to help out show producers who need her for the tour as her replacement Alesha Dixon is too busy.

But Arlene enjoyed the job and will probably be offered a fortune to do it.

Good on her! (I empathise as I haven’t always had an easy time with those in command when I worked at newspapers)
