Cheryl Cole returned home to the UK after her ‘quickie’ divorce from Ashley Cole was granted on Friday.

The lovely Miss Tweedy has been recuperating in LA after she was struck down with malaria earlier in the year and no doubt she was getting some much needed TLC from suspected beau, Derek Hough.

Cheryl arrived looking fresh and healthy at London Heathrow and she was photographed with an impressive 8 suitcases of clothes – we wonder how much that cost her in excess baggage!

Cheryl is arriving back in the UK in time to film the next stage of the X Factor which is the Judges home stage. A source has revealed that Cheryl will invite contestants to a 4.5 million mansion in Dorset.

Although she plans to be back in the UK until December it seems that she is keen to get back to LA as often as she can and Simon Cowell has dropped hints that she will be sitting alongside him on the panel of US X Factor.

In the meantime, Ashley Cole’s new flat was broken into while he was away with the England team.

One word for you….karma.

The troubled marriage of Ashley Cole and Cheryl Cole will be finalised in the High Court today.

After 4 years of marriage and multiple cheating claims, it seems that Cheryl just wants the whole thing to be over as soon as possible and she maintains that she has no interest in getting a large financial settlement.

The couple, who married in 2006 were first hit by cheating claims in 2008 after hairdresser, Aimee Walton, told the press about her fling with the England footballer.

Cheryl was devastated but took the love rat back, only for more claims to come forward in February this year.

The couple are one of only 29 couples granted a ‘decree nisi’ which allows the divorce to go through this quickly.

It is unknown who will get the mansion in Surrey and Cheryl seems more concerned with who will get custody of their beloved dogs, Coco and Buster.

After the year that Cheryl has had, we’re sure she just wants it over so that she can get on with her life.

You wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of Simon Cowell would you? Especially when he is the one deciding your fate in X Factor?

Well thats exactly what the latest contestants have done after they trashed his villa is Marbella after a few too many cocktails.

Simon has landed the groups to mentor and as soon as they hit down in the Spanish party town they hit the source.

Contestants broke into Cowell’s drinks cabinet, ruined a particuarly pricey Persian rug and just generally made a big old mess of the 15,000 a night villa.

Simon has already informed the contestants that they will be paying for the damage as soon as they receive their first royalty cheque.

The odds of a group winning the show this year just got a whole lot worse.

For those of you who were crazily excited about X Factor starting on Saturday (guilty), there is some nice, juicy drama already.

Irritating, Madonna lookalike, Katie Waissel, could already be being thrown off the show after it has been revealed that she is far from amateur.

Waissel appeared on the first show of the series and despite wanting to sing ‘At Last’ by Etta James, Simon put her on the spot and asked her to perform something different.

Queen fan, Katie, made a pretty appalling effort to sing ‘We are the Champions’ but when she messed up repeatedly, Simon conceeded defeat and let her sing her original choice.

The 24 year old won over the crowd and the judges and was put through to the next round.

It has since been revealed that the receptionist already has a record label in the US and that she is the star of a hit show on YouTube which followed her moving to the US to make a go at her singing career.

The singer has already signed a 2-record deal with New York based label, Chamberlain Records and her first jazz record will be released in the autumn.

Fans on X Factor forums are outraged and are claiming that the whole thing is a set up by the shows producers.

It remains to seen whether or not Katie will be allowed to progress in the competition but a spokesperson for the show has stated that:

“Katie is a fantastic contestant and this demonstrates her determination to succeed in the business”

Or….she’s just a massive cheat. Give someone else a chance!

I’m genuinely worried about Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle after seeing photos of her arriving at Heathrow airport yesterday.

She looks like she’d snap if you touched her. She’s so light, she’d probably take off if the wind blew a gale.

I don’t blame her for losing her appetite as she’s had a lot of problems recently. Her relationship with American footballer Jason Bell is on rocky ground and she’s got lots of pressure to live up to Cheryl Cole’s solo success.

However, it’s not cool that people are allowing her to work when she’s genuinely unwell. When Cheryl Cole got gaunt but carried on working she contracted malaria, and unless Nadine puts on weight she’s at risk to all sorts of health issues.

If she is going to have a go at cracking the charts, I do hope her crew take care of her – making sure there is space allocated in her day to eat and time to actually sit down and rest rather than running from interview to studio to party. That’s the only way she’ll put weight on (when she feels happy and secure).

Tip Of The Day: Telling people what to do never works. All you can do is be there if someone is suffering and make life as happy as possible.

After Brian Freidman was reported claiming that Cheryl and Derek were together, Amir Khan has now stuck his glove in and said the pair are just good friends.

The boxer from Bolton has apparently spent time with Cherly and Derek and claims their relationship is just to keep paps away.

If this it the case it seems like a pretty stupid plan to me.

With the secrecy surrounding their relationship people are more interested than ever in seeing more of them.

As Cheryl has been tightlipped on the topic it does nothing but increase our fascination with her love life.

Firstly he let gorgeous Cheryl Tweedy slip through his fingers (even though she gave him multiple chances) and now he’s made it clear he hangs out with stupid people.

His current girl on the go, Sarah Purnell, decided to Tweet about her night with Cashley. She wrote: ‘The mayfair hotel last night was messy…just woke up from last nights antics’

Talk about rubbing Cheryl’s nose in it. And she wears too much fake tan.

Tip of The Day: Appreciate what you’ve got because if you lose something good, it will take you a while to replace it and you may not ever be able to.

And if you do make bad choices when it comes to the opposite sex, maybe ask a friend’s opinion. Ashley’s friends probably aren’t the brightest but surely one of them would have warned him against dating a fame-hungry Twitter addict.
