The award-winning festival heavyweight Global Gathering celebrated a mighty 10 years in the business last weekend. The two-day event saw over 150 of the world’s biggest artists descend to the luscious surroundings of Long Marston Airfield near Stratford Upon Avon alonside 80,000 electronic music fans.

With headline acts such as Faithless, Dizzee Rascal, 2ManyDJ’s, Chase & Status amongst others alongside superstar DJ names such as Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, JOhn Digweed and Paul Oakenfold, this year’s festival was bigger than ever.

To celebrate the milestone achievement of 10 years, Global Gathering are releasing a 3-CD and Download Package of Festival Anthems providing you with the ultimate soundtrack to your summer.

The Food / Drinks: Not 100% sure – we weren’t there – but we wanted an excuse to use the photo of Dizzee. Presumably there was some kind of ice cream, given that it was a hot day and by a beach. We would have ordered a Mr Whippy from the ice cream van if we’d been there…

The Gossip: (1) The photo of Dizzee was taken in the gifting suite organised by Montgomery Ellis. Dizzee did well there, also picking up a Storm watch.

(2) Alexandra Burke looked as if she was picking up a new wardrobe from Miss Selfridge in the gifting lounge. These celebs are so lucky!

(3) Edward Grimes (one half of X Factor crazy twins Jedward) broke his leg on stage and had to be ferried to hospital in an ambulance. He mistimed a jump off the stage and landed badly on his leg.

However, he still carried on and finished the performance before going to the ambulance. Criticise Jedward all you like, but that dedication deserves respect. Check Jedward’s website to see how they’re getting on / show them some sympathy

So the stars were out in force last night to celebrate the Glamour Women of the Year Awards and we were there for all of the action.

We had a chat with Dizzee and he told us that he would love to have his own empire, just like Jay Z.

First step…his own clothing line.

Dizzee was looking very dapper in a grey Moschino suit and pinstripe Armani shoes, which we are still trying to figure out whether we liked!

So what kind of stuff would Dizzee’s clothing range include?

He says that it will be pure luxury, no high street fashion. He likes his designer stuff.

He obviously cares about looking good so needless to say he wasn’t pleased when I accidentally trod on his Armani’s…(oops)

It probably drove him Bonkers!

Yesterday saw one of the years biggest pop extravaganza’s take place at Wembley Stadium last night and the stars were out in force.

We were pretty disappointed that Blue didn’t make an appearance! When, Oh when will they return to us. I will continue to dream!

American RnB hero Usher opened the show with support on stage from Will.i.am and protege, Justin Bieber. 

Other acts sending the crowd bonkers were Ke$ha, Tinie Tempah, Jason Derulo (who’s actually prettyripped under that shirt!) and Pixie Lott.

Cheryl Cole again set tongues wagging when she brought potential love interest, Derek Hough, onto stage for a performance of ‘Parachute’. The pair were pretty hot stuff and even left the stage hand in hand!

Hmmm… we wonder whether there were some serious evil looks being exchanged between Derek and Will.i.am!

Dizzee Rascal was joined on stage by Florence Welch and they wowed the crowd with a rendition of ‘You Got The Dirty Love’.

Rhianna headlined the night, taking to the stage sporting a very fancy red dye job and a futuristic leotard! Sounds like my outfit from Saturday night!

Anyway, you lucky people – here are some piccies from the event for your viewing pleasure.

Clearly Ke$ha didn’t think it was necessary to wash that pen off her leg. Don’t think that look will be catching on!

Just when you thought that it wasn’t possible that anyone would come up with a better football anthem than Frank Skinner – James Corden and Dizzee Rascal come to the rescue!

The brainchild behind the song – Simon Cowell!

Apparently, Cowell has been sitting on the idea for the World Cup song which is a mixture of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” and Tears for Fears song “Shout”. Sounds like a weird combo to us!

The song will be called “Shout for England” and apparently it will be unveiled for the first time at the Britain’s Got Talent Final on Saturday. Talk about short notice!

All proceeds from the song will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital and hopefully will get the boys playing well.

Rapper Dizzee Rascal has come forward to say that he thinks love-cheat Ronan Keating is stupid for getting married! Probably not the most sensitive thing to say seeing as Ronan is going through a pretty hard time at the moment!

Dizzee has said that his aim is to sleep with as many different women as possible. So ladies – if you see him, watch out!

The Bonker’s singer states:

“I ain’t married yet. So why not? I’ve got the whole world to work through. I like all kinds of women… as long as they are pretty. I’m on a mission.

“Ronan’s mistake was getting married and still trying to have fun. It always happens on tour.

“I’m in no rush to settle down. I’m single and having the time of my life. I’d like kids and a solid family later.”

Wise words from Dizzee there. I’m sure that Ronan appreciates the advice!

Here’s Lily Allen squeeling like a girl at the sight of a man’s bum. The unsuspecting singer was leaving her gig with Dizzee Rascall at Manchester’s MEN arena on Friday night when a cheeky (pardon the pun) fan mooned her.

No wonder she’s quitting music with fans like this. Put it away mate!

The BRIT Awards 2010 promised to be a show to remember and it didn’t disappoint. We at Party Squad HQ will be talking about what an amazing show it was for weeks to come.

Lady GaGa stole the show with her performance and went home with 3 awards; JLS were the other big winners of the show, taking home 2 awards.

We saw tears; bad language, breathtaking performances, and Robbie Williams prove why he deserved the Outstanding Contribution Award.
