Gail Porter Gossip: Tune into GMTV this morning and you’ll see Gail Porter talking about showbiz between 6am and 9am – hours after getting back from V.

While at the bar, Gail revealed she would be getting a car back from Essex to London at midnight on Sunday after the headline performance from Kasabian and another car would pick her up this morning (Monday) at 5am to take her to GMTV.We calculate that’s about 2 hours sleep, maybe 3 if she sleeps in the car!

I am so happy how well everything is going for her. She was at the festival with her boyfriend Jonny Davies, who’s signed to the Holloways. They’ve just moved into their own house. Plus she’s lost a stone of weight and her hair has grown back.

I have evidence to prove that, comparing photos of the mischief we got up to in 2009 with some more naughtiness in 2010 (Gail knows how to party!)

The Event: Premiere of Toy Story 3

The Gossip: (1) Penny Lancaster put on a brave face despite a recent burglary at her South of France home. The 39-year-old was in bed with 65 year old Rod when thieves raided their £3.3 million home in La Colle Sur Loup. Scary!

(2) Photographers and journalists were complaining about the sorry states of UK film premieres. No major American star came over for the premiere of Shrek, nor of Twilight and Toy Story 3 was another event where hardly anyone connected to the film travelled to Britain. The LA premiere, however, attracted Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cuscak.

Lets hope for better things when Sylvester Stallone comes over for The Expendables next week!

THE PARTY: The launch of Edinburgh Festivals Summer Season

THE VENUE: Bond Nightclub, Kingley Street, London

THE GUESTS: Richard E. Grant, Calvin Harris, Gail Porter, Brit Eckland, Stephen K Amos and Zoe Salmon

THE GOSSIP: Guests were served Scottish themed cocktails and canapes by hunky young men wearing kilts which was a nice treat!

I chatted to Richard E. Grant who was looking very sun tanned. I thought that he may have been living it up in Cannes but he informed me that it was from playing tennis in Richmond! Don’t you just love the English sunshine!

He has just finished filming a “History of the Safari” in Kenya where he said that he was nearly charged by an angry Mother elephant who was protecting her baby. He didn’t seem too shaken up by it.

Richard was hosting the event as he is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival and the festival helped him to launch his film “Ra Ra” which then went on to the Tribeca and Sundance Film Festivals.

Next for Richard is a documentary called “Arabian Nights” to be filmed in Cairo in a couple of weeks! What an international jet setter.

He was really lovely and even asked me where i got my top! I said that i didn’t think that it would suit him but he said he was going to buy it for his daughter – how sweet!

Celebs and their kids attended the gala screening of new film ‘How to train your dragon’ at the Vue cinema in London’s Westend last night.

Among the stars posing in viking helmets (the films is an adventure comedy set in a mythical world of vikings and fire breathing dragons) was the lovely Gail Porter, who was showing off her rapidly growing hair.

We love Gail and think she looks amazing, and if she carries on like this it won’t be long before she’s back to her iconic best.

The festive atmosphere at the Aquum Christmas party was amazing, and celebrity guests included The Holloways, Gail Porter – who turned on the Christmas lights there – and Leo from The Streets.

I never tire of Christmas with endless games (like my advent calendar competition) and parties (like last night’s session with Gail Porter).

Gail switched on the Christmas lights at Aquum – which is now my favourite bar in London’s Clapham.

I never realised you could get such a stunning looking (lots of white leather and wood) venue that serves delicious drinks (the martini menu is massive) in South London.

And Gail and I definitely made the most of it after she switched on the lights.

London band The Holloways came down from their patch in North London to countdown to Gail’s switch on and singers Amy Studt and Leo Ihenacho cheered them along.

I made a video of it all, which is being edited and will be posted by the end of the week.

Why is it getting away for the weekend is much more exhausting than staying at home?

After my V festival weekend, I need another weekend (or whole week) of recovery.

Today my brain isn’t working so apologies in advance if I make any mistakes.

I blame everyone backstage in the Virgin Media and Absolute Radio VIP areas – from the hard-boozing celebs like Charlotte Church and Gail Porter to the acts I danced too much at like Dizzee Rascal.

BUT Tip Of The Day: St Tropez fake tan (which I had done yesterday) makes you look healthy even if you don’t feel it

Gorgeous TV presenter Gail Porter and I were bright and early arrivals at The V Festival, so we decided to make the most of the freebies on offer backstage in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge.

First up was Shu Uemura fake eyelashes, then we captured the moment in a photo booth and that was followed by quite a lot of Champagne…at 3pm in the afternoon!

Gail’s excuse is that her daughter Honey was being looked after by her dad and she had just finished filming The Gadget Show. My excuse was…I like Champagne!
