It’s well known that most celebrities hate the paparazzi, but apparently they’re not all bad, as Renee Zellweger found out yesterday.

Renee had stopped her car illegally in order to get some coffee (as you do if you’re rich and famous)

The cheeky scheme seemed to be paying off too, until a traffic warden was spotted walking down the road.

At this point, the paparazzi lept into action, with one snapper kindly running across the road to put money in Renee’s parking meter.

Renee, who was (naturally) incredibly thankful to the snapper, presented him, as a thank you with a signed Starbucks gift voucher worth $100

I can imagine parking fines in LA are hefty, but surely it would have been cheaper for Renee to just put money in the meter in the first place.

I’ve been given the honour of being asked to take part in a debate at Cambridge Students Union tonight. The statement being debated is ‘Reality TV reflects everything that is wretched in Britain.

The Aprentice star Jame Mcqillan, Times journalist Hugo Rifkind and I are arguing against while PR Max Cliffiord and Mark Borkowki argue for (even though Max has made millions from reality TV star. The party squad are wondering if Oritse JLS will ‘blink’ again (geddit?!) after a mad fan poked the poor little soldier in the eye in the hussle for an autograph.

The super fan, who was wearing a Sarah loves JLS hoodie, ran to the boys car as they were leaving London’s Hammersmith Apollo after a gig, and managed to poke Oritse in the eye with her pen. Not the best way to get his attention, Sarah. But bless you, it’s the kind of thing we’d do in front of a guy we fancy.

The fan’s moment of fame was quickly over though as security pulled her away before she caused poor Oritse any more damage.

I am feeling quite tender this morning as I went to the celebrity launch party of new ride SAW: Alive at Thorpe Park Last night.

That is a horror maze. With live actors. With electric shocks. And rooms that intentionally smell disturbing.

But most unsettling of all is definitely the live drama – with each room containing actors pretending to be tortured.

After that, we got to go on all of the other major Thorpe Park rides – including its best-known one – SAW, which involves a vertical climb and a vertical drop and lots of other stomach churning things (I closed my eyes so I am not sure what).

But respect to the celeb crew like Danny Dyer, Tinchy Stryder, Mat Horne, Lois and Jaime Winstone, Max and OB from Hollyoaks, Chloe Madeley and Brendan Cole, who all did it (and some did it twice).

My cameraman from Living TV filmed all the action and it will be online on Friday so make sure you check back then.

Tip Of The Day: Some of the things get more intense  and harder to do as you get older and rollercoasters is definitely on that list. However, nothing beats it for an endorphin rush so I definitely recommend Saw and the Saw Alive maze.

Victoria Beckham and Jordan have never got on and now the pair have met again- this time at Elton John’s post Oscar’s bash last night.

Jordan was embarrassingly snubbed by Victoria this time last year at Elton’s 2009 party when she tried to speak to her, so we’d love to have been a fly on the wall at this year’s event!

Mariah Carey was keeping her lips sealed at last night’s Oscar’s after hinting to journalists that ’something special’ was about to happen but failed to elborate.

The 39- year- old singer was looking glowing in a bright blue dress, and our guess is that she’s got a little bun in the oven.

Imagine this diva baby- it’ll be singing before it can speak!

Here’s Lily Allen squeeling like a girl at the sight of a man’s bum. The unsuspecting singer was leaving her gig with Dizzee Rascall at Manchester’s MEN arena on Friday night when a cheeky (pardon the pun) fan mooned her.

No wonder she’s quitting music with fans like this. Put it away mate!

Kelly Osbourne once slapped me in a nightclub because she is an un-educated bully. (She took issue with something I wrote about her and instead of coming up with an articulate argument, she used her fists)

So when I heard that Sharon Osbourne was signing copies of her novel Revenge in London’s Selfridges today, I had to go down.

In the queue, I read the book and laughed at the first line: “Just before Amber slapped her sister, she closed her eyes, knowing she would enjoy it far more than she should.”

Would Sharon slap me when she found out I was the journalist who stood up to her daughter and went to the police after bully Kelly slapped me?

At first I thought Sharon herself would get slapped as there was a CRAZY, NUTTY fan in the store:

But what actually happened is Sharon had the cheek to call me a nutter. Pot. Kettle. Black. Those are the words that spring to mind.

I approached her and said: “I am the journalist Kelly slapped. What do you have to say to me.”

The normally feisty Osbourne lost her tongue and wouldn’t speak to me!

Instead she told her PR’s: “That girl is a nutter. She’s not going to get anything out of me. She’s a nutter. She’s nuts.”

I had to smile:

What is really nuts is that Sharon’s daughter Kelly slapped me and I haven’t got an apology yet.

And what she must be nuts about is that less than 150 people turned up to her signing. You had to buy a book to get a wristband to meet Sharon and there were still wristbands available when I got to the store at 6pm.

A future booker prize for Sharon? I think not. Like mother, like daughter when it comes to ways with words (or lack of them)

Sharon Osbourne is signing copies of her new book later, and we’d been told that the first 150 people to buy the book would receive exclusive wristbands and were guaranteed to meet Sharon. Zoe and I rushed down to Selfridges where the signing is taking place. The store opened at 9.30 and we were running 15 minutes late and panicking about the the size of the crowds that would greet us.

To our amusement we arrived to find an empty book department! A small security guard stood by a table guarding a big pile of wristbands (maybe protecting them from the all the invisible fans)

We got our books and had our red wristbands put on (the red ones are the special ones and means we’re right at the front!)

The last time Zoe came face to face with one of the Osbourne’s she ended up being slapped? I wonder what will happen when she meets the matriarch?

Katherine Jackson, the mother of the Jackson family issued a statement yesterday to combat rumours that have been flying around the media regarding her grandson Jaafar.  

It was reported that 13- year old Jaafar Jackson (son of Jermaine) had bought a stun gun over the internet.

However, Jaafar was prevented from hurting anyone in any way by his grand mother, who released a statement to explain the rumours:

“Two weeks ago, Jermaine Jackson’s 13-year old son, Jaafar, who lives with his mother Alejandra at the home of Mrs. Katherine Jackson, received a package with a stun gun he ordered online.”

“Jaafar opened the package alone in his bathroom and tested it on a piece of paper.  Mrs. Jackson and security heard the sound coming from the second floor of the house.”

“Immediately, security went upstairs and confiscated the stun gun. Mrs. Jackson took control over it and then had it removed from the house.”

“There was no other incident. Blanket Jackson never saw or heard the stun gun. Neither did Paris Jackson. Prince saw the stun gun in the possession of security. There is no second stun gun.

“All of the kids are happy, healthy and wonderful and that is Mrs. Jackson’s only objective and concern,”

We’re glad to hear that no one was hurt and just hope that the store who sold Jaafar the stun gun tightens their rules when it comes to buying weapons online.
