It looks like things are going from bad to worse for Cheryl Cole at the moment as the singer has contracted bronchitis and been forced to cancel her scheduled appearances on Jonathan Ross and Fearne Cotton’s Radio 1 show.

The X Factor star was due to perform her new single Parachute on tonight’s Friday Night With Jonathan Ross but cancelled her performance under doctor’s orders. Cheryl was not due to be interviewed by Jonathan (that would really pull the viewers in!) but we would still have loved to see her perform.

Let’s hope your luck changes soon Cheryl, get well!

The apps just keep on coming and we’ve just found out about one that will really make an iPhone worth having.

How likely is it that England will win the World Cup?

The reason I ask that this morning is because sportswear chain Sports Direct has launched a new promotion.

If there was a serious chance England would win, there is no way that they would do this.

It must be hard being Frankie. Jumping from one hot celeb guy to the next, poor her. No sooner is it announced that she has ended her relationship with McFly’s Dougie, Aston JLS has swooped in and is apparently taking her on a date.

The Saturday’s singer is said to be devestated over her split with Dougie (not that devestated it seems…) but is still looking for her Mr Right. Could that come in the form of JLS star Aston? Who knows, better get Frankie a hoodie printed sharpish though.

Seems Mark Owen has joined the shamed queue of cheating celebrities at the moment (say hi to Ashley will you?) as the Take That star has admitted to cheating on his wife with TEN different women during their five year relationship.

In an interview with The Sun, Mark blamed his infidelity on an alcohol problem and said that he is ‘deeply sorry’ for the pain he was caused his wife, Emma.

The singer told The Sun: “I denied to her I was having an affair when things were going on. I want to do the right thing now for the kids and Emma. She is absolutely without a doubt the only person I want to be with for the rest of my life.”

A statement from Mark, 38 which was released today reads: ”I’m so deeply sorry for the pain my actions have caused my family and friends.

“I’d like to ask the media to please respect the privacy of my wife and children during this difficult time.”

We must say Mark, we’re very disappointed. We always thought you were the good boy in Take That.

Jordan aka Katie Price has caused havoc at an airport yet again (surely this is becoming a full time job for the girl now?). This time she was arriving back in this country yesterday, following a stint in LA for Elton John’s Oscar’s party.

The glamour girl was dressed up warm in a fur coat for her arrival at Heathrow this morning. Good job really, it’s freeeeeeeezing outside.

The mobbing comes on the same day that a statement has been released on behalf of Jordan assuring the public that her marriage to Alex Reid is legal, following suspicions that the minister who conducted the ceremony was no qualified to do so.

Katie’s people said: “Following the revelations in the press over the past couple of days regarding the validity of Katie and Alex’s wedding, we would like to state that the marriage is 100 per cent legitimate and legal”.

Phew, we can get back to our tea and biscuits and quit worrying about that now.

Well, it was for a magazine cover shoot but still… we like to think it’s more indication that Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are getting it on in real life too.

The pair looks absolutely amazing on the cover of W magazine this month. The shoot was to promote their new movie together, The Bounty Hunter. But you can’t fake that chemistry… come on guys- admit it, you’re smitten!

Retired Lily Allen will be the subject of a fly- on- the wall documentary series. The show will follow her as she attempts to open a designer clothes hire shop called ‘Lucy in disguise’ it will also see her attempt to launch her own record label. Discussing her semi retirement from the music industry Lily said “It’s not retiring. I’m just doing a different job for a bit. I’m having a career change”.

It must be nice being able to consider a career change at 24. Whilst most people struggle to establish a career or even find a job, which smarty pants thought it would be a good idea to make a programme about spoilt rich kids flitting between ‘careers’ before getting bored and moving on.

Although saying that we do wish Lily all the best with her new shop… must dash, I’m going to be a vet now.

It’s well known that most celebrities hate the paparazzi, but apparently they’re not all bad, as Renee Zellweger found out yesterday.

Renee had stopped her car illegally in order to get some coffee (as you do if you’re rich and famous)

The cheeky scheme seemed to be paying off too, until a traffic warden was spotted walking down the road.

At this point, the paparazzi lept into action, with one snapper kindly running across the road to put money in Renee’s parking meter.

Renee, who was (naturally) incredibly thankful to the snapper, presented him, as a thank you with a signed Starbucks gift voucher worth $100

I can imagine parking fines in LA are hefty, but surely it would have been cheaper for Renee to just put money in the meter in the first place.
