Katie Price might be on the front of every newspaper in the country at the moment, but it seems her reputation is not proving too popular with fans.

The former glamour model – who has a line of books, perfume, equestrian clothing, bedding and lingerie – is said to be suffering following her divorce from Peter Andre, with many of her products, including new perfume Stunning, “doing very badly”.

And while Katie’s autobiography ‘Being Jordan’ managed staggering sales of 750,000 copies at the height of her fame, her latest offering ‘Standing Out’ has only sold 41,000 copies.

One industry insider said: “Although Katie’s been everywhere in the press, we’re not really seeing this transfer into sales.

“Perhaps there have simply been too many books and other products that have saturated the market. It does make you wonder if her appeal has peaked.”

A spokesperson for Katie has denied the reports, insisting all her ranges are doing well.

We will just have to wait and see how Katie’s next book ‘Lost in LA’, due for release in July 2010, fares.

So, interior designer Colin McAllister became the second person to be voted off ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ last night.

But one person definitely not too happy about Colin’s departure was his civil partner (and co-presenter) Justin Ryan, who burst into tears when Ant and Dec told Colin he had been chosen to leave.

However, in his post-eviction interview with the Geordie duo, Colin said he had faith Justin would be able to continue without him.

He added: “Justin’s crying like a baby right now, but he’s really strong. He’s my hero.

“He’ll be absolutely fine.”

Well… that remains to be seen!

Last week, I did a little experiment where each day I wore shoes named after a different Sex and The City character.

And I’ve just realised that I never announced the results, which I think is quite interesting as I have learned something about myself.

I always thought I was the Carrie Bradshaw character being a journalist and all, but it turns out I has the best night in Redfoot Shoes’ Samantha design.

I first wore these to a Rihanna gig at The Brixton Academy where I got a peck on the cheek by X Factor’s Jamie Archer.

And then I wore them again last night as you can see from the photo above, which was taken after a book launch and then party in London’s Sanctum hotel.

It was another top evening as The Holloways invited me away for a weekend to watch them perform in Butlins holiday camp.

I think these may be my pulling shoes….

According to reports, bidding for X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes’ autobiography is now at £250,000.

WHY???? They are 18 and all the main thing they have done is appeared on a tv show and performed badly.

Look at today’s Sun showbiz site - the boys are annoying enough spread over two pages of Bizarre.

Why would anyone want to read a whole book by them.

Today was the launch party of the book Obama Music by American playwright (and BBC Question Time champion) Bonnie Greer.

Bonnie’s researched the music Obama listened to through his childhood and youth to help explain what makes him the man he is. Genius!

If you’re as interested / intrigued by the American President as I am then you must check out the book and what’s even better is that it was written by a woman that embarrassed BNP leader Nick Griffin on BBC’s QuestionTime.

The lady on the left is artist Keira Rathbone, who did the book’s illustration using a typewritter instead of a pencil / paintbrushes!

Alex Reid has released a statement regarding his split from Katie Price.

The cage fighter – who was unceremoniously dumped on live television on last night – said in the statement he would be remaining in Australia for his professional obligations.

The statement read: “Following yesterday’s surprise revelations that Alex Reid’s relationship with Katie Price has apparently ended, Cage Fighter Films Ltd, with whom Alex has contractual obligations and responsibilities, would like to make it clear that he will continue with his business meetings associated with the film Cage Rage at undisclosed locations in Australia.

“Naturally there are ongoing telephone conversations between the couple, but Alex has no further comment to make at this time regarding the state of their relationship.”

Hmmmmmmmmm!

Reality shows are set to merge if John and Edward are set to go into the jungle.

‘The X Factor’ rejects are reportedly being convinced to go on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ by their X Factor mentor Louis Walsh, who thinks it would be an incredibly good move for their career.

A source said: “ITV are determined to get the twins. A flight can be arranged in time so they could be in camp by this weekend. It would be a nailed on ratings-winning coup if Louis manages to persuade them it’s a good move for their career.

“Louis still believes ITV haven’t offered enough money. But the twins were completely unknown a couple of months ago and everyone around them is saying they should make hay while the sun shines.”

I would pay good money to see those two in the jungle – can you imagine what they would look like minus their hair gel and high tops?!

Lady Gaga was so concerned about fans waiting outside an album signing in Los Angeles that she spent over $1,000 buying them pizza.

The controversial singer ordered 80 cheese pizzas for the queueing fans, writing on her Twitter page: “Sending all my little monsters little pizzas for waiting all night for me at best buy. I hope you’re hungry…eat up I love u!”

Papa Johns, who supplied the pizza, said Gaga tipped “very, very well”.

But I wouldn’t expect this at every album signing – I think this was pretty much definitely a one-off!
